From the wonderfully cool surroundings of Kundasang

Assalamualaikum,
We're back. Finally, I have found the time to sit down and join the merry group. A big TQ to Yusof for settling affairs so well and Nani for sending me the username and password. I was lost for so long, trying to figure out why I couldn't enter the blog?? We were in Kundasang over the weekend. While breathing in the refreshing clean air and taking in the breathtaking view, I did think how nice it would be if we could actually have a CG reunion in K'dsg. However, there is the big and wide sea between us but then, that should not be a reason not to realise the thought, Insya Allah, one fine day.
Anyway, I do read the blog very often, like in Nani's words, 'skodeng sokmo'. However, it was a matter of not wanting to rush while blogging as we all normally have to do during school days. We pray that everyone is in good health, Insya Allah. Jafri has not been to KL lately so he hasn't caught up with Hanif or Pak Lah for some time now. He did hear from Hanif just a shortwhile ago. He's coming over in Oct to conquer the highest peak in Southeast Asia and we're confident he can do it.
Someone's looking over my shoulder and giving me a funny look ... well, is it not ok if I use English?? After all, we are trying so hard to improve our children's English so shouldn't we be using it as often as we can... Nani, guru TESL sejati, help me on this... oklah, I'll continue in BM. Nanti kena charge tak nak memartabatkan Bahasa Melayu pulak dah...
So, sempena cuti sekolah, dah berjalan dari hujung ke hujung, except for Nani, yang lain sure dah ter-lepas entah ke mana-mana dah. Kalau nak ikutkan hati, memang nak berjalan but ada macam-macam benda nak dibuat di KK so kena tunggu Dis ajelah. PTK durjana yang buat warga pendidik semua separuh sakit jiwa tu pun dah menunggu, eeehh, menyampahnya (pasal tak mau study langsung...hehehe)... buat bunuh mood cuti aje, sure guru-giri semua setuju. Untunglah Hanif, Anisah dan Pak Lah serta sape-sape lagi spouses yang bukan guru tak payah fikir-fikir pasal benda yang tak berfaedah ni (except untuk naik pangkat aje, selebihnya macam saya takleh nak fikir how can it actually make teachers into better teachers...)
Engkorang yang tunjuk grafik makananlah, cerita pasal makananlah, offer nak masak ni masak tu, eehh, geramnya. Dekat sini, makanan yang dah masak untuk dijual memang tak best. Sabarlah, Dis dah tak lama lagi.
Roslee, Sari and family pasti seronok dapat mengunjungi MAHA. Kami terliur baca berita dan tengok liputan di TV aje. Rugi, rugi. Macam-macam yang anak-anak dapat tengok dan belajar. Kalau tak asyik terperap kat rumah, boringnya... lupa, kena check dua bundle kertas esei BI, kwang, kwang, kwang!!!
Harapan kami sekeluarga semoga seluruh warga CG akan berseronok pada cuti sekolah ini. e.g. anak-anak Hanif dan Anisah pun dah balik dari KB, anak-anak CG yang tinggal di asrama pun pasti seronok dapat kembali ke pangkuan keluarga, emak dan bapa semua pun turut bergembira. Tak lama lagi puasa, kali ini Amal sempat beraya di Malaysia, kalau tak kesian dia. Sometimes we must truly appreciate what we have received and make the most of everything we've been blessed with.
